Outremar
The Outremars were Imperial Army Regiments, during the Great Crusade.[1]
History
They were the backbone of the Imperial Army's forces, as the Outremar compromised a full seven per cent of its overall numbers at the time of the Great Crusade.[1] Their Regiments officer ranks included Khedive Masters and below that were Field Marshals.[2]
Five thousand of the Outremar's troopers were attached to the 670th Expedition Fleet commanded by Lord Commander Teng Namatjira and fought in the Nurth campaign.[1] Several of the Outremar's Regiments served in the 40th Expedition Fleet as well, which saw them attack the Craftworld Thuyelsa and later the Olamic Quietude. However in both instances, the Expedition Fleet was forced to call upon help from the Space Wolves, in order to achieve victory over their foes. When the Legion's Tra Company came to help them in their invasion of the Olamic Quietude's Homeworld though, the Space Wolves requested that the Imperial Army forces leave the world. They were outraged by this, but the 40th Expedition Fleet's commander agreed to the request and ordered the Imperial Army to withdraw.[2]
