Overview
The Horus Heresy: Legions is based on the Black Library’s novel series. It is available on Android and iOS devices, offering cross-platform play.[1]
Game Mechanics
Choosing from dozens of playable Warlords, from unsung heroes like Captain Ehrlen to legendary Primarchs like Fulgrim. Build a deck of 30 cards and play fast duels online in one versus one turn-based card battles.[1]
You will find each Legion has a strong sense of identity, with defining aspects of each one expressed through gameplay mechanics. Case in point, the Emperor’s Children have cards with an ability called Perfection – a card with the Perfection ability triggers additional effects if all remaining Energy was spent to play it. In other words, they are rewarded for playing a perfect turn in perfect order with perfect resource management.[1]
Features
- You can join a Warrior Lodge where you will meet other players, with whom you’ll be able to talk strategy, fight for greater game rewards and spar in the training cages.[1]
- Ranked seasons. Follow the Warmaster’s trail from Isstvan III, facing ever-stronger opponents in a race for Terra, where the top players battles for supremacy.[1]
- Periodic events would happen, based on the Black Library novels, including exclusive Warlords with new abilities and strategies to master. Fight for your favourite faction, scoring points for it with every win. The winning side at the end of each Event unlocks a permanent, game-changing effect![1]
